in April, I had a blast revisiting the delightful Dodmoor House to capture Lisa & William’s big day. If you’re familiar with me and my work, you know Dodmoor House steals my heart every time. It’s a gem tucked away in the Northamptonshire countryside, oozing charm and elegance. Plus, the folks at Dodmoor House are absolute legends, ensuring every couple’s wedding day is top-notch.
I caught up with Lisa & William about a month before the wedding, and I couldn’t wait to see their plans unfold. They wanted to keep things chill, prioritising quality time with loved ones. And with lots of kids in the mix, it promised to be a blast. Kids might be unpredictable, but they sure make for some awesome photo ops!
On the big day, I arrived bright and early to create a sneak peek behind the scenes for my social media, and to catch up with the Dodmoor crew. Lisa kicked off bridal prep with her squad, and it was all laughs and good vibes. The bridal suite is a dream, with plenty of space. Lisa’s daughter was a joy to photograph, radiating sweetness.
William showed up with his best man, a tad nervous but totally normal. Guests started trickling in, laughter filling the courtyard. Lisa’s request for a first look with her dad was a tear-jerker moment, pure love and pride.

The ceremony was a whirlwind of emotions, ending with cheers and applause for the newlyweds. After some confetti fun as the bride and groom walked down the aisle, it was group photo time in the courtyard. Lisa & William opted for a laid-back vibe, preferring to soak up time with loved ones rather than fuss over formalities.
Speeches brought tears and laughter, wrapping up a day that flew by in a blink. Despite a sprinkle of rain, we managed to snag some stunning portraits, thanks to the adventurous newlyweds.
The dance floor was buzzing, young and old showing off their moves. Huge thanks to Lisa & William for letting me be part of their special day, and to all the guests for the warm welcome. To the Dodmoor House Team, you guys are legends!
