Hi, I’m Lewis, a wedding photographer in Leicestershire. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of capturing countless love stories all across the UK and beyond, and let me tell you, it never gets old!

Posing, I don’t go big on posing, and I won’t take you away from your wedding for hours. I understand you want to spend as much time with your loved ones as possible. At some point though, you’ll want a few creative photographs of the two of you. (No cheesy posing here, and that’s a promise!) But rest assured, these will not take long at all, giving you more time with your nearest and dearest.

History of Leicestershire
Leicestershire is a county located in the East Midlands region of England. The area has a rich history that dates back to prehistoric times.
During the Roman period, the town of Leicester, which is now the county town of Leicestershire, was an important settlement called Ratae Coritanorum. The town served as a hub for trade and commerce in the region.
In the 9th century, the area came under the control of the Anglo-Saxon kingdom of Mercia, which established a number of settlements in the area. Later, during the Norman Conquest in the 11th century, William the Conqueror granted the land to his follower Hugh de Grandmesnil, who built Leicester Castle.
During the medieval period, the county was known for its wool trade and the production of high-quality textiles. Leicester Abbey was founded during this time and became a significant religious center. The area also played a role in the Wars of the Roses in the 15th century.
During the Industrial Revolution, Leicestershire became a center for the manufacturing of textiles, shoes, and hosiery. The Grand Union Canal was built, which facilitated the transportation of goods to other parts of the country.
In the 20th century, the county became a hub for the engineering and manufacturing industries, particularly in the town of Loughborough, which is known for its university and technological innovation.

While I am based in Northamptonshire and primarily photograph weddings throughout beautiful Leicestershire, including luxury hotels, historic halls, rustic barns, and everything in between, I am also happy to travel and cover weddings across the UK.
What does your wedding photography package include?
My all-day wedding photography package includes up to twelve hours of coverage, capturing everything from early preparations to late-evening festivities. Wedding albums are also included in all-day packages. Packages can be tailored to your needs and include a pre-wedding consultation, professional editing of high-resolution images, full printing rights, a private online gallery for easy download and sharing, and an online slideshow.
How long will it take to receive our wedding photos?
You will typically receive your professionally edited wedding photos within four to six weeks after your wedding day. Depending on the wedding season, you may get them back even quicker. Regardless, I strive to give you a sneak peek soon after your wedding to satisfy your excitement! You can view examples of my work in my portfolio.

Do you offer engagement photo shoots as well?
Absolutely! Engagement or pre-wedding photo shoots are a great way for us to get to know each other and for you to become accustomed to being in front of the camera. This is an excellent opportunity to create some beautiful, relaxed images before your wedding day. An engagement photo shoot can be added to any of the wedding photography packages.
How do we choose the right wedding photography package for our intimate wedding?
I understand that every wedding is unique, which is why I offer flexible options to suit smaller, more intimate weddings. My hourly rate is perfect for couples who don’t require all-day coverage. We can arrange a pre-wedding consultation to discuss your exact needs and tailor a photography package that suits your special day perfectly.
Can family and friends view and order prints from our wedding?
Of course! Your wedding photos are uploaded to a password-protected online gallery which can be shared with family and friends. They’ll be able to view, download, and even order prints or albums directly from the gallery. This makes it an easy and streamlined way for everyone to relive your special moments.
