Hi, I’m Lewis, a wedding photographer in Bedfordshire. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of capturing countless love stories all across the UK and beyond, and let me tell you, it never gets old!
I have photographed well over 200 weddings and built up a reputation over the years for putting everyone at ease, allowing you to celebrate your day to the max. I’m all about capturing candid moments, from the love, laughter, and everything in between. My goal is to give you photographs that will transport you right back to how your day felt.
Posing, I don’t go big on posing, and I won’t take you away from your wedding for hours. I understand you want to spend as much time with your loved ones as possible. At some point though, you’ll want a few creative photographs of the two of you. (No cheesy posing here, and that’s a promise!) But rest assured, these will not take long at all, giving you more time with your nearest and dearest.

History of Bedfordshire
Bedfordshire is a county located in the East of England, with a history that dates back to prehistoric times. During the Roman period, the area was part of the territory known as Britannia and was home to several settlements and fortifications. One of the most notable was the Roman town of Luton, which served as a center of trade and commerce. In the Anglo-Saxon era, the region came under the control of the Kingdom of Mercia, which established several settlements, including Bedford, which would later become the county town of Bedfordshire. During the Norman Conquest in the 11th century, the area was granted to William the Conqueror’s followers and became part of the feudal system. The castle in Bedford was built during this period, and the county was also home to several religious houses, including Woburn Abbey and Dunstable Priory.
During the medieval period, Bedfordshire became known for its wool trade and the production of high-quality textiles. The county played a role in the Wars of the Roses in the 15th century, with the Battle of Barnet being fought just over the county border. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the Industrial Revolution brought significant changes to the county, with new industries such as brickmaking, straw plaiting, and lace making emerging. During the 20th century, Bedfordshire played a significant role in the development of aviation and technology, with major companies such as Vauxhall Motors, Airship Industries, and the Defence Research Agency establishing bases in the county. Today, Bedfordshire is a diverse and vibrant county, with a rich cultural heritage and a thriving economy. It is home to many historic landmarks and attractions, including the charming town of Ampthill, the majestic Woburn Abbey, and the scenic Dunstable Downs.

I aim to catch those candid, cheeky, and intimate moments in an unobtrusive way. It’s all about documenting your memories in the most genuine, easy-going, and beautiful way possible.
While I am based in Northamptonshire and primarily photograph weddings throughout beautiful Bedfordshire, including stately homes, luxury hotels, rustic barns, and everything in between, I am also happy to travel and cover weddings across the UK.
What does your wedding photography package include?
My all-day wedding photography package includes up to twelve hours of coverage, capturing everything from early preparations to late-evening festivities. Wedding albums are also included in all-day packages. Packages can be tailored to your needs and include a pre-wedding consultation, professional editing of high-resolution images, full printing rights, a private online gallery for easy download and sharing, and an online slideshow.
How long will it take to receive our wedding photos?
You will typically receive your professionally edited wedding photos within four to six weeks after your wedding day. Depending on the wedding season, you may get them back even quicker. Regardless, I strive to give you a sneak peek soon after your wedding to satisfy your excitement! You can view examples of my work in my portfolio.

Do you offer engagement photo shoots as well?
Absolutely! Engagement or pre-wedding photo shoots are a great way for us to get to know each other and for you to become accustomed to being in front of the camera. This is an excellent opportunity to create some beautiful, relaxed images before your wedding day. An engagement photo shoot can be added to any of the wedding photography packages.
How do we choose the right wedding photography package for our intimate wedding?
I understand that every wedding is unique, which is why I offer flexible options to suit smaller, more intimate weddings. My hourly rate is perfect for couples who don’t require all-day coverage. We can arrange a pre-wedding consultation to discuss your exact needs and tailor a photography package that suits your special day perfectly.
Can family and friends view and order prints from our wedding?
Of course! Your wedding photos are uploaded to a password-protected online gallery which can be shared with family and friends. They’ll be able to view, download, and even order prints or albums directly from the gallery. This makes it an easy and streamlined way for everyone to relive your special moments.
