“Top bloke, bloody incredible photographer and super easy to be around.“

Award-Winning Documentary Wedding Photographer
Hi, I’m Lewis, a documentary wedding photographer capturing weddings across Northamptonshire, the Midlands, and all over the UK.
Most couples book me because they want brilliant photos without the day feeling awkward, staged, or like one long photoshoot. They want to enjoy their wedding, spend time with their favourite people, and trust that the moments that matter are being captured properly.
That is exactly how I work.
I blend in with your guests, keep things relaxed, and capture the day as it really felt, not how it looked when everyone was told to stand still and smile on command.
Getting married in Northamptonshire, here’s my Northamptonshire wedding photographer page.
95% real moments you’ll actually remember. 5% effortless portraits that look bloody good.
From the look on your partner’s face as you walk down the aisle, to the laughter during speeches, the chaos on the dance floor, and all the little in between moments you never even saw, I’m there capturing it all while you get on with having the best day.
For most of the wedding, I stay out of the way and let things unfold naturally. No forcing moments. No constant directing. No turning your wedding into a photoshoot.
When something does need organising, like group photos, I keep it calm, clear, and quick, then I disappear back into the day.
From the look on your partner’s face as you walk down the aisle, to the laughter during speeches and the in between moments you’ll be glad someone noticed, I’m there capturing it all, while you focus on enjoying your day and not thinking about photos.

“He didn’t just photograph our wedding, he made the day better by being there. If you want photos that actually feel like your wedding, book Lewis. You will not regret it.”

What You’re Actually Getting (And Why It Matters)
Real Lives, Real Memories, Real Moments, Captured…
What couples usually say before booking me
“We’re a bit awkward in front of the camera.”
“We don’t want loads of posing.”
“We want natural photos, but still want to look good.”
“We want to enjoy the day, not spend it being directed.”
“We want someone who feels like part of the wedding, not someone taking it over.”
If that sounds like you, you are exactly the kind of couple I work best with.
What couples say afterwards
“He felt like a friend.”
“We barely noticed him.”
“He made us feel so relaxed.”
“The portraits felt natural and easy.”
“He captured moments we didn’t even realise had happened.”
“Our guests loved him too.”
“He didn’t just photograph the day, he made it better by being there.”
That is always the aim.
Where I work
I’m based in Northamptonshire, and I photograph weddings all over the UK, from barn venues and country houses to city spots and back garden marquees.
Most of my weddings are around the Midlands and nearby counties, like Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire, Bedfordshire, Derbyshire, and Leicestershire, but I’m always up for travelling if your day’s further afield.
If you’re getting married in Northamptonshire, you’re in my usual patch, if not, drop me a message and I’ll tell you straight what travel looks like and whether your date’s free.
Planning Your Wedding? Let’s Talk.
If you’re looking for a photographer who values real moments, avoids awkward posing, and lets you enjoy your day without turning it into a three-hour photoshoot, get in touch.
Even if you’re early in planning and just need someone you can trust, I’m happy to talk through your plans.
No pressure, no hard sell, no “limited availability this week only” nonsense. Just an honest conversation about your day and whether I’m the right fit.
No forms disappearing into a void. No awkward sales chat. Just a proper conversation.
You’ll get a reply from me, not an assistant, usually the same day. We’ll see if we’re a good fit, and if so, I’ll walk you through the next steps.
WhatsApp works best, but email’s fine too if you prefer.
