Did Someone Say aWARDS!

For me, it’s the couples and the wedding day that counts, not the awards.

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2015, and along the way I’ve entered a few photography competitions. It was never about calling myself an award-winning photographer. It was about pushing myself to be more creative.

Ultimately, what matters to me the most are the couples and their wedding day. Emotion beats perfection any day of the week in my book. That said, entering has pushed me to keep improving, which means more creative photos for every couple who trusts me with their wedding. I’ll admit, winning Best Wedding Photographer in the Midlands 2026 at The I Do Wedding Awards, based on couples’ reviews, was a proper pinch-me moment.
