If you’re wondering, “Do you travel to our venue?”, yes, I do.

I’m Lewis, a relaxed, documentary wedding photographer based in Northamptonshire, where I was born and raised. I cover weddings across the whole of the UK, and I’ve photographed a few further afield too, in Mexico and Cyprus. Most of my weddings are in the Midlands and the counties around it, but wherever you’re getting married, you’ll get the same calm, unobtrusive approach and photos that feel like your day.

Barns, big houses and countryside venues, from Winters Tale Country Barn to Horwood House, with easy travel for guests coming in. That usually means a lively drinks reception and a packed dance floor.

If your area isn’t listed above, it doesn’t mean I don’t cover it. I photograph weddings across the whole of the UK, so whether you’re down South, up North, by the coast or in a city, just drop me a message with the details.

Travel and costs, the bit everyone worries about

I keep travel simple and upfront, because nobody needs extra stress.

Do you charge for travel?

For most UK weddings, travel is included or kept sensible. If it’s a longer drive, a very early start, or it needs an overnight stay, I’ll tell you clearly before you book, no surprises.

Will travel change the way you work?

No. My approach stays the same wherever you are: calm, documentary and unobtrusive. You get to enjoy your day, I photograph it as it happens, and portraits stay quick and relaxed.

What if timings are tight?

That’s normal. Timelines slip, the weather changes, Uncle Dave disappears, it happens. I stay calm, keep things moving and get what you need without turning the day into a military operation.
