Huntsmill Farm is a charming 18th-century stone barn located on the border of Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire.

With its converted barn, intimate courtyard setting, and stunning grounds, Huntsmill Farm offers the most picturesque space for you to hold your wedding day. When you book your wedding at Huntsmill Farm, the venue is exclusively yours not just for one day, but for three. (Yes, three!) This allows you time to decorate and set up the day before the wedding and enjoy the accommodation throughout your stay.

I can also personally vouch for the staff here, they will look after you, nothing is too much, and that’s a promise. As they are a family fun business, they work hard to extend that family feel to all of their couples and welcome them into the Huntsmill family with a relaxed and memorable experience.

With the ceremony, reception, and accommodation all in one location, you and your guests can relax and leave the world behind you. Huntsmill farm offers seven self-catering cottages (That sleep up to 32 people) which are arranged in the courtyard adjoining the wedding barn and farmhouse. I have had the pleasure of spending time in a few of the cottages, and they are honestly beautiful. Also, the quiet location means you and your guests won’t be disturbed – as they have no neighbours, apart from the wildlife which roams the land!

In regards to ceremony spaces, they offer two. You have the choice of saying your ‘I Do’s’ either in the stone barn or at their outdoor structure, which they have called ‘The Shed.’ There is so much outdoor space at this venue, which you will notice as soon as you arrive. Their lawn area is an ideal space for welcome drinks, lawn games, and photo opportunities. Their courtyard is a perfect space for a firepit and food trucks in the evening.

The barn and courtyard seamlessly transition to our exquisite gardens, surrounded by picturesque fields that change with the seasons, thanks to their working farm. Depending on when you choose to tie the knot, you’ll be treated to a captivating backdrop of vibrant crops, ensuring your wedding photos are a true work of art.

Outdoor Ceremonies at Huntsmill Farm

Huntsmill Farm grounds are nothing short of breathtaking! Nestled against the stunning backdrop of Buckinghamshire’s countryside, the farm boasts a revolving display of vibrant crops throughout the changing seasons.

Inspired by this natural beauty, they unveiled ‘The Shed’ in 2021, their licensed outdoor ceremony space. The Shed offers couples the unique opportunity to exchange vows in the great outdoors, saying ‘I do’ beneath the open sky. The Shed is a charming outdoor structure, that was crafted from reclaimed roof timbers sourced from one of Huntsmill Farms aged barns and corrugated tin to seamlessly blend with the rustic aesthetic.

At their outdoor ceremony location, The Shed, you can comfortably seat up to 100 guests on sturdy wooden benches thoughtfully arranged around the structure, guaranteeing an unobstructed view for all. To ensure everyone catches every word, we provide a PA system complete with speakers and a microphone during your ceremony.

Huntsmill Farm are licensed by the Buckinghamshire County Council, and it’s essential to book your ceremony with their registrars in advance.

Just like their indoor barn ceremonies, on the morning of your special day, a member of the Huntsmill Farm team will warmly welcome the registrars. They’ll then ensure a smooth meeting with you, your partner, as well as any witnesses or speakers before the ceremony.
