Hi, I’m Lewis. If you want your wedding to feel like a celebration rather than a photoshoot, you’re in the right place. I’m a relaxed, documentary wedding photographer, born and raised in Northamptonshire, and most of my day is spent quietly photographing the laughs, the tears and everything in between as it actually happens.

It’s photography that fits around your wedding, not the other way round. No forced smiles, no barking orders, just the day as it unfolds, with a little help from me when it’s needed.
From the happy tears during the vows to the speeches and the dance floor chaos, I’ll be there, quietly getting on with it. Most of the time you won’t notice me, and when you do, it should feel like having a mate around who happens to have a camera.

I grew up here, so photographing weddings in Northamptonshire feels a bit like a home game. It’s the county of shoemaking, Weetabix and Dr. Martens, and it’s also home to a lot of the venues I know best, from converted barns to country houses and village pubs.
Being local helps on the day. I’m often working at venues I already know, so I know how the day tends to flow, where the light is good in the afternoon and where to go if the rain turns up. That leaves more of my attention for you and your guests.

Northamptonshire has a bit of everything, from rustic barns and tipi venues to country house hotels. When you’re choosing, go and visit, ideally around the time of day you’ll be getting married, and ask the venue team how a typical day flows. They’ll know.

Do you take formal photos?
Yes. I’m mostly documentary, but I’ll happily organise the group and family photos you want. We’ll agree a list beforehand and keep it quick, so you can get back to enjoying your day.
How do you make us feel comfortable in front of the camera?
Lots of couples tell me they’re camera shy, and that’s completely fine. For most of the day you’ll hardly notice me. For portraits I’ll give you light direction and keep it fun, so you’re never stood there feeling awkward.
