Plum Park Manor Wedding Venue & Photography

Plum Park Manor is a beautifully restored Victorian manor house wedding venue near Towcester, set in the countryside and right on the Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire border. It’s exclusive use, surrounded by manicured parkland and formal gardens, and it’s built for a wedding day that feels relaxed, elegant, and properly fun.

If you’re planning a wedding at Plum Park Manor, you get the best of both worlds, country house charm, a marquee made for celebrating, and loads of space for natural wedding photography without it feeling like a full day photoshoot.

My favourite bit here, confetti straight out into the gardens, then everyone drifting to drinks while you two have a quick “we actually did it” breather.

Wedding photography at Plum Park Manor

From a wedding photographer’s point of view, Plum Park Manor is brilliant because you’ve got loads of variety in one place, without wandering off, without forcing anything, and without taking you away from your guests for ages.

You’ve got
The manor house for timeless portraits
Gardens and parkland for relaxed, natural wedding photos and candid moments
The rope swing for fun couple photos
The marquee once the lights come on, perfect for atmosphere and party photos

If you’re planning a summer wedding, it really shines. Everything feels light, open, and easy, and it suits a natural style of wedding photography beautifully.

My approach as your Plum Park wedding photographer

I’m a relaxed wedding photographer, and the goal is simple, you enjoy your wedding day, and you get photos that feel like you.

I blend in, capture candid moments as they happen, and give gentle guidance when it helps, especially for portraits. No awkward posing, no turning your wedding into a photoshoot, just natural wedding photography with loads of colour, emotion, and story.

You’ll get
Real moments, laughs, hugs, speech reactions, and the in between bits
Beautiful portraits without disappearing for ages
A full story of your day, from morning getting ready to the evening party

Tips for a smoother day

Do confetti straight after the ceremony, dried petals outdoors only, and pick a spot with space so it looks full and fun
Do group photos soon after the ceremony, then everyone can get back to drinks quickly
If you want golden hour portraits, give yourselves ten minutes later on, it’s always worth it
You can drop decor items off the day before, but setup starts at 9am on the day
