For portraits, I keep it relaxed and nearby. Usually just a short pocket of time rather than a big interruption.

Most of the day is captured as it happens. The nerves before the ceremony, the hugs afterwards, the laughter, the slightly chaotic bits, the speeches, the reactions, and the moments you probably did not notice at the time.

The goal is simple.
