I have been lucky to have photographed a wedding here, and since then this beautiful Northamptonshire hotel wedding venue has left a lasting impression on me. I have also had the pleasure of visiting here several times throughout my life for various other occasions, so it’s safe to say I know this venue and the surrounding area pretty well! (Stoke Bruerne is not too far from here, which is perfect if you are looking for creative wedding portraits)
Established in 2005, this licensed wedding venue has hosted many nuptials in Northamptonshire. I can assure you this venue will want to ensure your big day will be a day to remember for all the right reasons.
They are also an approved venue for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships for up to 100 guests. Another grand reason to choose the Walnut Tree Inn is that, for one, you can get married in the historic building. Two, host the wedding breakfast there, and three, party till the wee hours and stay over with some of your guests too. In short, they deliver the perfect package.

As soon as you enter the hotel, it’s clear to see why people choose this location as their wedding venue of choice. It may not be the biggest venue in the world, but it has so much character and charm about it, sure to put a smile on all of your guests’ faces.
It has its own separate entrance, toilets, and bar, giving you total privacy on the day. However, if you do not wish for a huge party, their private dining room might be more to your taste. Either way, they can and will decorate the room in any style, to match your personalities and wedding colours.
I personally love the intimate feeling of this venue. Now when I say it may not be the biggest venue in the world, it will still easily hold up to 120 of your nearest and dearest, which in most cases is more than enough guests for most wedding couples. As The Walnut Tree Inn is also a hotel, it can give you peace of mind, especially if you have family members who are travelling far and wide to see you tie the knot. Knowing that you and your family and friends have the option of staying in a hotel room at the venue is a bonus in my book.
