The Venue

Situated across 2,600 acres of picturesque countryside, The Granary at Fawsley is a beautiful wedding venue and presents a versatile setting for your wedding celebration. Offering exclusive venue rental and a licensed capacity for civil ceremonies, you can select between our intimate listed Grain Store or their grand wedding barn. The Granary at Fawsley ensures a breathtaking backdrop, creating the ideal canvas for your special day.

The Barn

The Barn at the Granary offers an ideal setting for weddings accommodating up to 200 guests, irrespective of the wedding style. Boasting numerous windows overlooking the scenic fields and a 15th Century spring (a picturesque spot for photos!), the Barn is airy and spacious.

Originally designed as an agricultural barn, it underwent a complete transformation into a wedding venue in 2015. The interior showcases exquisite fabric linings adorned with thousands of fairy lights, alongside a striking black and white dance floor. Our personally handcrafted oak bar is fully stocked with an extensive selection of beers, wines, and spirits. The integrated black and white dance floor not only enhances the aesthetics but is also guaranteed to entice your guests onto their feet.

The Grain Store

With its enchanting oak beams, delightful leaded windows, and scenic valley views, The Grain Store offers an idyllic setting tailored for more intimate wedding gatherings. Accredited for civil ceremonies and capable of seating up to 80 guests, this space serves as an exquisite backdrop for your ceremony. Furthermore, it can be adapted to host your wedding breakfast, accommodating up to 45 guests.

Nestled within the original Grade II listed Granary structure, The Grain Store occupies the first floor, providing splendid views regardless of the weather conditions. Adjacent to the ceremony room lies a comfortable seating area, formerly the original pigeon loft, preserving its authentic charm with original brick and oak-beamed features—an ideal space for post-ceremony drinks during your wedding reception. On the ground floor, another seating area and a bar offer a diverse selection of wines, beers, and spirits to complement your celebration.

The Lawn

The charming courtyard lawn serves as an ideal spot for ceremonies during the warmer seasons (It’s also a great space for lawn games!). Their licensed wooden gazebo offers a picturesque backdrop for exchanging vows. Following the ceremony, Their horsebox bar serves refreshments as your guests socialise, allowing me, the photographer, to capture these precious moments.

Nestled deep within the historic Fawsley Estate, this Northamptonshire retreat is the perfect place to hold a wedding. The rooms are unique, contemporary, and stylish: each of the ten ensuite bedrooms is beautifully designed. Knowing that you and your family and friends have the option of staying over at the granary is such an excellent bonus in my book. If you have a little bit of spare time on your hands you can find lots of interesting things to do to keep you entertained throughout your stay!

The Granary at Fawsley is a collection of Grade II listed barns, which have been converted into a contemporary but rustic barn wedding venue and hotel. A Hidden Gem in a peaceful valley within acres of rolling green countryside in the heart of the historic Fawsley Estate, the venue offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The Granary is licensed for civil ceremonies in both the Fawsley Suite (seating up to 80) and the Barn (seating up to 200).

The Granary’s Barn provides the perfect backdrop to any style of wedding. With lots of windows looking out over the fields and a 15th Century spring (perfect photo spot!), the Barn is light and spacious.

Why ‘The Granary’ is Perfect for Wedding Photography

From a wedding photographer’s point of view, the great thing about ‘The Granary’ is that there is so much variety to the venue. Some venues can be quite limited in terms of the amount of space available and this can sometimes mean that you end up taking similar photographs each time you go there. This isn’t the case with ‘The Granary’ however. As it is so large, I know for a fact I would never have to take the same photo twice.
