I love two things above all when photographing weddings – real, unposed, moments, and beautiful portraits.
I work as hard as I can to provide you with both of these.
This page is all about why I love to capture real moments as a documentary wedding photographer.
You can read all about how I take creative portraits here.
For me, for photographs to have value and become more and more important to you in the future, it is necessary that they are genuine and authentic to the real moment.
I try to capture you and your family and friends exactly as they are, as opposed to me frequently asking you to pose and do things.
I want your day to be your day, rather than it being what I direct.
Ultimately I want to provide you with a set of photographs that you not only love when you first see them, but which become completely invaluable in the future.
I believe that emotion beats perfection any day, this is why I believe in capturing real moments and genuine, non-posed emotions.
How do I photograph real, natural, unposed moments?
I like to work in a way that makes you feel completely at ease in order for me to capture real, honest moments. Hopefully, you will almost forget that I am there, which in my opinion brings the best results.
I find that the more relaxed you are, the more natural your photographs will be, which in my opinion produces better results.
One of the nicest things people can say when they look at their photographs for the first time is that they don’t remember the photograph being taken – I LOVE that.
